Before applying any type of reflective finish, it is imperative the ceilings or the walls be prepared in such a way that little or no imperfections can be seen. Even in this new home, the modern day construction methods were hidden nicely from the home buyer with flat commercial grade wall paint. We had to skim-coat and sand the walls of this two story foyer and only then spray multiple coats of gold pearlized finish.
